The Cochrane Super Seniors Curling Bonspiel took place Nov. 22 through until the 25… all the results from each category are listed below.
In the age 55-67 Social Event, Skip Alicia Brooks and her team were the winners, beating out Rick Heller and his group. In the 68-70 Social grouping, John Dyck led his team to victory, with Keith Boothe and his squad getting the runner up position.
In the age 71-75 Social, Al Neumeier’s team beat out Larry Freeman in the finals of their event. Alf Boldt and his team defeated Jim Wilkie’s crew to win the 76-91 Social Event.
On the competitive side, Blaine Zubot’s team beat Bill Strain in the 55-65 grouping, while Team Skip Heather Paul-Scott led her team over Orville Lammie’s in the 66-68 age bracket. In the final competitive event, Will Sanders team upended Lorne Danielson in the 69-84 age group.
In the Greenhorn event, Diane McClennon and her squad beat out Warren Fast’s group.
In the newly added Sturling event, Leona and Elmer Kowalick defeated Helen and Jack Sabin.
