Border Bowl football tryouts on tap

Local football players are going to be offered the chance of a lifetime, as tryouts for the upcoming ABC Border Bowl are set to take place Feb. 20 at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre. The tryouts run from 9-11 a.m.

Local football players are going to be offered the chance of a lifetime, as tryouts for the upcoming ABC Border Bowl are set to take place Feb. 20 at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre.

The tryouts run from 9-11 a.m. and are for three age groups: young stars (grades 6 and 7), future stars (grades 8 and 9), and rising stars (grades 10 and 11).

Players will be put through testing, positional work and one-on-ones before final decisions are made.
