Cochrane High School Cobras cleaned up at the Rocky View School Division Football League awards on Nov. 30.
After winning the ASAA Tier 3 Provincial Championship on the weekend, Cobras came home to celebrate the end of their season as awards were dished out.
Most Valuable Player went to linebacker/running back Ethan Forrest, while Tae Gordon received Quarterback of the Year.
League Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year went to slotback Erik Nusl and defensive end Justin Sambu.
Spencer Marchand was named Receiver of the Year, while Michael Scott was named D-lineman of the Year.
Eight other players, Justin Fehr, Dylan Gingrich-Hadley, Cole Avery, William Moulton, Bowen Beierback, Damon Scott, Austin Yersel, and Zach Rabe were all named to the division’s All-Star team, with Jed Heal winning the Coaches Award.
