Teen curlers heading to provincials
It’s on to provincials next month after the Cochrane High School mixed curling team earned a gold medal at the Alberta Schools Athletics Association zone championship last weekend.
The Chestermere Curling Club and the Bow Valley Curling Club in Indus co-hosted the south central zone championships, which also saw Cochrane’s girls team bring home a bronze medal.
The mixed curling team advances to the provincial tournament taking place in Lethbridge at the beginning of March.
