The Cochrane Generals had a successful start to their pre-season schedule with back-to-back wins over the Okotoks Bisons.
The Gens took a 4-3 decision in overtime on Friday night in Okotoks and then ran roughshod over the very same Bisons the following night in Cochrane 7-3.
Cochrane will be back in action Sept. 16 when the Airdrie Thunder are in town for the final exhibition game of the season.
The Generals will kick off their regular season portion of their schedule on Sept. 22 against the Bisons in Okotoks to start three-game road trip. They are back home on Sept. 30 against the Ponoka Stampeders to start a six-game homestand.
