Two junior golfers from the Highwood Golf and Country Club are set to compete in the semi-finals of the first Alberta Amateur PAIRSGolf Junior Championship.
For the first time in golf history, players are now able to compete against each other in a, “virtual” sense because of special software courtesy of the PAIRSGolf.com website.
The software opens up competition to players all across Alberta because there is no need for teams to travel great distances from home to participate.
The mission of PAIRSGolf, and the purpose of the new game, is to foster greater participation in golf by providing an inclusive, innovative, and organized recreational golf alternative for enthusiasts all over the world.
