More than 350 swimmers from Region E wrapped up their regular season last weekend with the two day Canmore Coho Invitation Meet.
There were 44 swimmers from Cochrane Piranhas in attendance from ages six to 19.
Cochrane’s individual swimmers achieved personal best times and placed first 11 times, second eight times and third six times. The team swimmers placed first twice, second three times and third three times.
The swimmers now have two-weeks to prepare for regionals, which will be held at Repsol Sports Centre in Calgary on Aug. 12 and 13. Any individual or team that places first or second at regionals will compete at provincials on Aug. 18 to 20 in Edmonton.
