HARRIS, Raymond Edison
March 30, 1931 - March 1, 2024
Raymond Edison Harris, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024.
Raymond was born in Edmonton, Alberta, the 7th of 10 children. Raymond worked various jobs, but his main occupation was aircraft and helicopter mechanic. He had a passion for flying, enjoyed yodelling, square dancing, volunteering and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa, granddaughter Gina, sister Velma and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Velda, and his 8 siblings: 4 sisters and 4 brothers. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brentwood Intercare - Calgary, and the Big Hill Lodge - Cochrane, for their care and compassion.
There will be no service held as cremation has taken place.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
