With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Valerie on July 22, 2025, at the age of 68. Born in Winnipeg, she was the middle child of Shirley and Gordon Hobson Sr. and was predeceased by her sister Pam, her parents, and her daughter Marie.
Val is survived by her husband Craig; her children Madigan, Nicholas (Freya), and Katherine (David); and her brother Gord.
Val was a vibrant woman with a gleeful sense of humor and an unforgettable laugh. She loved music and was proud of her musical theatre career. Her warmth, humor, and energy left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on August 30, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cochrane (1100 Glen Eagles Dr).
