It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that the family of Owen David Yuers of Rocky View County, Alberta announces his passing on May 31, 2025.
Owen was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and partner known for his kind heart, bright smile and amazing sense of humor. Born on November 30, 2003, Owen came into this world and brought joy and love into the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His presence was a gift, and his memory will remain a beacon in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Owen was in the process of completing his apprenticeship with Kubota at Tractorland. Meeting and conversing with the clients/ranchers and farmers was the highlight of his career. Among the family and multiple close friends that Owen loved, there was Owen George, his forever friend. The two of them were never to be separated. Their friendship was like none other.
Owen is lovingly remembered by his parents, Brent and Kathryn Yuers: his grandfather Keith Christensen and grandmother Marion Yuers; his true love Chloe Fisher and his many aunts, uncles and cousins: David (Connie) Christensen, Dan (Shawna) Christensen, Darren Yuers, Shawn Yuers, Jason (Corina) Yuers, Emily (Brad) Vandebeek, Erin (Thomas) Pugh, Bryce (Taylor) Christensen, Mark (Allie) Christensen and Brady (Renee) Christensen. Owen is predeceased by his grandfather Larry Yuers and grandmother Margaret Christensen.

A celebration of life will be held for Owen Yuers and Owen George at Spray Lakes Event Centre (800 Griffin Rd E, Cochrane) on Friday June 13 at 1:00 pm. The families request that you carpool to the extent you are able.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the charity of your choice.
