I take a different view of the premier's stance with communist Ottawa, and believe that she is absolutely very aware of future machinations that Ottawa will try to impose. (RE:"Smith staring down horns of dilemma with sovereignty push," June 5 edition)
Smith is the very best that Alberta has, and I would suggest that the national energy program of the late senior Trudeau would not have happened under her watch.
I think you should update your " fact " that Albertans have no desire to separate from Canada.... Check out the town halls that the a p p are participants and you might change your perspective.
