A documentary brings Seniors on the Bow (SOTB) to the end of September. On Sept. 29 Forgetful But Not Forgotten shows the impact on the family with the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease on a family member.
Finally, Book Club meets on Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. to discuss Amy Tan’s novel Saving Fish From Drowning.
All programs are up and running all days of the week.
Thursdays and Fridays feature special events to note: Thursdays: Oct. 13 at 1 p.m. – Living Forward Presentation – hints on how to do talk to family members about your plans following retirement and how to keep them informed on future and end of care wishes, wills, etc.
Oct. 20 from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. Drumming Circle – Ppease register at front desk reception.
Oct. 27 from noon to 2:30 pm – Basic Food Safety Training—Useful for persons who wish to volunteer as coffee drop-in host/hostess or to work in our commercial kitchen. Register at 403-932-6002.
On Oct. 21 at 12:30 p.m. a hot lunch will feature Shepherd’s Pie, Bean Salad and Pineapple Delight. What a deal at $6. Wine and beer go for $4 a glass.
Register early because this popular event fills up very quickly and seating is limited. Following lunch at 2 p.m., games are again available plus a Scrabble workshop.
Finally on Oct. 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. the highlight of fall for SOTB ladies is the Fall Fashion Show featuring “Laura” fashions. More information to come.

SOTB is open daily Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. We will be closed on Oct. 10 for Thanksgiving Day.
