December sees changes in the calendar at Seniors on the Bow. The Christmas season kicks off with the Hymn Sing on Dec 4 at 6:30 p.m. Bring your happy voices to enjoy favourite hymns and songs of Advent and Christmas.
To conclude the events of 2016 sign up for the annual Christmas dinner, an always-popular event. Cost is $25 for SOTB members and $30 for guests. Register at front desk reception quickly because the limited number of seats are going fast. Put on your festive outfits and enjoy a full turkey dinner with wine and beer available at $4 per glass.

Fundamentals of French go for three Thursdays in December, the 1st, the 8th and the 14th, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Cost is drop in fee.
Note change of time and venue for Book Club. On Dec. 16, the club will meet for Christmas lunch and discussion at noon at Kaye’s home. Call Marguerite at 403-932-4286 for directions. The book is Secret History by Donna Tartt. January book is Medicine Walk by Richard Wagamese.
