A 26-year-old male accused in a series of cross jurisdictional Tim Horton's break-ins pleaded guilty on multiple counts at the Alberta Court of Justice in Airdrie on July 24, 2025.

Joshua Elliot Moose made an in-person appearance in the courtroom where a guilty plea was entered on his behalf through his counsel.

Last year, a total of 31 charges were laid in Alberta for break and enter in order to commit theft, possession of break-in tools such as a crow bar, and unsafe storage of a firearm.

Moose is a resident of Medicine Hat, who was previously charged with seven offences in Saskatchewan for break and enter for theft and possession of break in tools.

A five-month investigation took place before Moose's arrest. A dozen plus some break-ins occurred between June 2024 and October 2024, including locations in Rocky View County, Didsbury, High River, Rocky Mountain House, Drayton Valley, Hanna, Vermilion, Strathmore, Stettler, and two in Wetaskiwin.

Before Moose's arrest for the multiple charges mentioned above, he had no previous criminal record.

Moose next appears in court on Sept. 19 for sentencing at the Alberta Court of Justice in Airdrie.
