CINCINNATI (AP) — Miguel Amaya will be placed on the injured list after the Chicago Cubs catcher suffered a left oblique strain during Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

CHICAGO (AP) — The depleted Texas Rangers lost Joc Pederson when he was hit by a pitch on Saturday, breaking his right hand. Leading off the fourth inning, Pederson was hit by an 87.5 mph cutter from White Sox right-hander Bryse Wilson.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — The Miami Marlins transferred catcher Rob Brantly to the 60-day injured list on Saturday. The 35-year-old Brantly was placed on the injured list on April 21 with a strained right lat.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Elly De La Cruz drove in four runs and the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Chicago Cubs 6-4 Saturday to end a four-game losing streak. Justin Turner and Carson Kelly homered as the Cubs had a three-game winning streak snapped.
