Dear editor: In reading this week’s Eagle, my heart sunk in when I noticed that Video Experts is soon to be closing its doors. I am disheartened by its closure because my family and I have faithfully been renting there for years.

Dear editor: I just completed my first Cochrane Footstock race this past weekend. My family, from Calgary, and myself were impressed with how well it was organized. My sincere thanks to all the organizers and the many volunteers.

Dear editor: I am touched by the national respect for our recent RCMP members who lost their lives in the line of duty. This is how we should honour those who protect our nation. What saddens me even more, is that the loss of Canadian Forces Lt.-Col.
