Dear Editor: Spray Lake Sawmills (SLS) has recently had a few inquiries related to our increasing manufacturing activities and we would like to provide the following response.

Dear Editor: Re: ‘Sawmill’s noise level at night frustrating.’ In response to Tracey Beeching’s letter about Spray Lake Sawmills’ noise (Cochrane Eagle, May 8): Seriously people, time a reality check.

Dear Editor: When industry and residential areas encroach on each other, there starts to be issues that really need to be resolved, or frustration and anger will start to manifest.

Dear Editor: Selena Houle, a Grade 8 student at the Cochrane Christian Academy, submitted this article to the Eagle as part of a school project to encourage youth. The article is based on living every day like it’s your last.

Dear Editor: We, the citizens of Cochrane and surrounding area stand on the brink of a great opportunity to benefit our citizens. As part of the new pool project, a warm water therapy pool should be incorporated.

Dear Editor: I enjoyed Jack Tennant’s excellent article on volunteering in a recent issue of your newspaper.

Dear Editor: Big Hill West 4-H Club had the privilege of having Gary Cooper from Vermillion come to the Cochrane Ag Arena to do a cutting clinic April 12-14. On Friday, he worked on ground work and riding with 4-H members.

Dear Editor: Over the past seven years, my husband Ken has survived many serious and life threatening health issues.
