Car Crash

Anything Grows storeowners were in for a shock when a truck slammed through their front window earlier this week.

On Nov. 7, a Ford truck smashed into the front window of the store, shattering the glass and damaging the building.

“I was standing at the counter helping a customer search for some product from the spring then I felt debris hit the back of my leg and the front of a Ford pick-up was right behind me, ” said Rob Heembrock, storeowner.

“The (driver) in the truck was crying - we were all thankful that no one was hurt. ”

Cochrane RCMP said the incident is still under investigation but “it doesn't appear alcohol was a factor. ”
