The Cochrane & Area Humane Society is hosting its annual Christmas Party Open House inviting guests to help the shelter's adoptable animals have a happy season.
For five hours, guests are invited to visit the furry friends at the shelter. Gifts for resident animals can be purchased at Norm's Nook and placed under the shelter wish tree for the homeless pets. Christmas baking will also be available as well as pet portraits. Raffles and prizes round off the event.
The open house is on Dec. 10 from noon to 5 p.m. at the shelter, located at 62 Griffin Industrial Pt. For more information, go to cochranehumane.ca.
