On July 15, beloved Canadian funnyman Jimmy Flynn will be bringing his live show to the Stoney Nakoda Resort and Casino.
Known as Canada’s Ambassador of Good Cheer, Flynn — part musician, part comedian — will be gracing the stage with his more than 30-year-old act, complete with the wide grin, sou’wester rain hat and checkered shirt.
The act promises a hand-clapping, foot-stomping good time for all attendees.
Throughout his career Flynn has broadcast more than 400 radio shows, a television series, a number of comedy videos and CDs, along with a best-selling joke book. One hundred per cent of the proceeds from the event will go towards flood relief efforts.
Flynn will take the stage at 8 p.m. with doors opening half an hour before show time.
Free shuttles will be available to and from the casino for Banff and Canmore residents. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online through the casino’s website at stoneynakodaresort.com.
