The body of 91-year-old Calgary male was found at the bottom of a cliff near Elbow Falls Tuesday morning.
RCMP received a complaint of the missing Calgarian on March 7 after the family of the deceased had found a suicide note from the 91-year-old. The family said the man suffered from depression.
Cochrane RCMP located the body at the base of a cliff in the Elbow Falls area. Cpl. Troy Savinkoff said a helicopter was utilized in the recovery of the body.
“There is nothing suspicious about the death and at this time police are not concerned at this time,” Savinkoff said.
The name of the deceased is not being released.
