The Cochrane and District Chamber of Commerce, for the first time, is hosting a fall trade show, at the Cochrane Lions Event Centre, 109 5th Avenue this weekend, Oct. 21 and 22.
it’s meant to supplement their spring trade show held every May.
Event organizers said the fall show was something that came about from vendor feedback in the spring, and the intent is to give small businesses an opportunity to muster up some business ahead of the Christmas show season.
There will be over 50 vendors in attendance for the show, which is about the capacity for the Lions Event Centre. Their spring show at the SLS Centre generally has room for around 160 vendors.
Public Show Times this weekend will be: Saturday 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday 10 to 4.
The Chamber promises this show will have something for everyone – daily prizes, samples, and much more. Entrance fee is cash only. It’s free for kids 12 and under. Anyone 13 and up: $2/day. Family Pass (valid for two adults and up to four kids): $5 per day.
