Cochrane active COVID-19 cases remains at six

As of the end of the day Tuesday (Feb. 9) the Town of Cochrane had a reported six cases of COVID-19. To date, Cochrane has reported 317 cases of the virus— Two people have died and 309 people have recovered.

COCHRANE—  The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Cochrane remains at six.

As of the end of the day Tuesday (Feb. 9) the Town of Cochrane had a reported six cases of COVID-19. To date, Cochrane has reported 317 cases of the virus— Two people have died and 309 people have recovered.

The province of Alberta identified 339 new cases of the virus in the last 24 hours, after the completion of 10,873 tests.

The provincial testing positivity rate sits at 3.2 per cent.

Currently, there are 421 COVID-related hospitalizations, including 77 people admitted to intensive care.

The province reported six additional COVID-related deaths. To date, 1,728 Albertans have died.

As of Tuesday, more than 129,400 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the province. To date, a total of 36,999 Albertans have been fully immunized with two doses.

There are 5,706 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.
