Cochrane beauty queen Khristel Cuesta, crowned Pearl of the Philippines, will be speaking at the World Day of Prayer.
On March 3, Christians in more than 170 countries and in 2,000 communities across Canada will gather to learn about, pray and celebrate in solidarity with the women of the Philippines through the World Day of Prayer, according to a press release.
Cuesta will be a guest speaker at the Cochrane Day of Prayer hosted on March 3, at 1 p.m. at the All Saints Anglican Church, located at 404 Fourth Ave.
