The Cochrane Business Network (CBN) is connecting local professionals.
Founded by Jim Messner in 2005, the CBN holds regular meetings in order to provide learning and networking opportunities within the community.
“We encourage learning and the building of valuable, trusted relationships within the group, knowing that too can increase the bottom line,” states the CBN’s website.
Messner is a Cochrane local currently working at Royal LePage Integrity in Cochrane.
He advocates the advice given at the CBN meetings is applicable to all business types and for people within sales who don’t necessarily own their own business.
Topics the CBN intends to cover at the upcoming meetings include: an introduction to networking, how to make social media work for your business, and accounting and tax tips for businesses.
The CBN’s next meeting takes place April 12, at 9 a.m., at Cochrane Toyota’s community room. Tickets for this event can be purchased on the CBN’s website. For more information, visit cochranebusinessnetwork.com
