Your readers may recall that Peter (Guthrie) was driven from Cabinet and the caucus for suggesting that Minister LaGrange step aside until she was cleared of any wrong doing. The Premier hired re-tired Justice Raymond Wyant from Manitoba to investigate these serious allegations and report back by June 30. The Premier has just added 4 more months to the investigation. Does anyone else think that the Judge got his report done by June 30, and that the Premier has had a chance to skim through it?
On May 16 2025 Minister LaGrange has been moved to a new portfolio of Preventive Health Services, and her new duties will according to the government web site “be available soon”.
It would appear that the Premier has taken Peter’s sage advice, albeit a little late.
When can we expect him to be brought back into caucus and hopefully the cabinet?
