The 2512 King's Own Calgary Regiment Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps are hosting a bingo fundraiser on July 16.
Hosted at the Cochrane Royal Canadian Legion, the event will kick off at 7:00 p.m. There will be four rounds of blackout bingo with mini games within the rounds.
Tickets for the event are $20 each and one ticket buys 10 bingo sheets. Each bingo sheet will have three cards on it. Sheets will be for sale at the event for $3 each but purchasing a ticket guarantees you a seat. Up to 120 seats are available so it is recommended tickets are purchased in advanced.
An intermission will be held between the second and third round to do a 50/50 draw.

Proceeds from the bingo will be going towards the cadet corps’ 2017 trip to Vimy Ridge for the 100th anniversary of the battle on April 9. The group has currently reached 65 per cent of its fundraising goal for this trip.
