Cochrane Cares focuses on groups

The Cochrane Cares needs assessment survey is focusing on specific groups over the next two weeks.

The Cochrane Cares needs assessment survey is focusing on specific groups over the next two weeks.

Cochrane Family and Community Support Services is hosting six focus group opportunities in Cochrane and Bragg Creek focusing on youth, seniors, housing, rural Bragg Creek, and the community at large starting March 16.

The survey was released earlier this year giving residents an opportunity to share personal stories so the town could gain a better understanding of residents’ needs. The focus groups were initiated as a way to allow for more in-depth conversation and help organizers gain a better understanding of the challenges facing residents.

The focus groups have limited space and organizers are asking people to call to add their names to the participant list.

If you are unable to make it to the focus groups, input can be provided by filling out a paper survey, available at the FCSS Homestead Building, the Cochrane Public Library, the Boys and Girls Club of Cochrane and Area, Seniors on the Bow, Home Reno Heaven, the Clothesline and Home Treasure.

There is also an online survey available at cochrane.ca/cares.

Input is being collected until March 25.

For more information contact organizers at 403-851-2500.
