The Kiwanis Club of Cochrane and Bike Cochrane Society’s second annual Bike Safety Day happens from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 4 in the Garmin parking lot at 30 Bow St. in Cochrane.

Bike safety tips will be given for kids ages four to 14, along with bike and helmet inspections, a safety course, and instruction.

If a bike inspection reveals something needs attention, coupons redeemable at Big Hill Cycle and Kelso’s Bikes will be provided to participants.

If kids need a new helmet, some will be available. If they can’t find one that fits, coupons will be available to go over to Walmart and purchase one.

Event sponsors are Garmin, Walmart and the Town of Cochrane.

Anyone interested in attending is asked sign up for the wait list at cochranekiwanis.com/events.

They are still looking for volunteers to come and help out. If interested in volunteering, contact Debbie White at [email protected].
