Cochranites are encouraged to join Tourism Cochrane’s Explore local event at Riverfront Park on June 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to learn how they can spend the summer on and along the idyllic Bow River.

The organization will have free food, demos and an opportunity to chat with local tourism partners on how you can enjoy the Bow this Summer.

Local activities available include renting a stand-up paddleboard from GhostekNorth, tours with Kelsey’s Caravan, trying out an e-bike along Cochrane’s pathways, signing up for a birding tour with Nature in my Backyard, and playing a round of disc golf.

Other options include watching the artists from Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery create their works along the walkway, learning about water safety through courses provided by the Cochrane Fire Department, the Cochrane Scavenger Hunt, and Cochrane App Promotions.
