May 2 to 8 marks National Mental Health Week, and the Town of Cochrane is using the one-week campaign to focus on how empathy can have a positive impact on other people’s mental health.

The Town of Cochrane’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) department is hosting three scavenger hunts to encourage residents to explore the community and “reflect on the ways they can promote their own mental health and contribute to positive mental health of those around them,” according to a news post on Cochrane.ca

The scavenger hunts take place in Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park, historic downtown, and an ‘adventure from anywhere' hunt that takes place throughout May.
