Cochrane in Brief
Jingle Mingle a go

The Cochrane Immigrant Services Committee is making some changes to its annual Jingle Mingle event. The Jingle Mingle is usually an event held on Christmas Day for people in the community who find themselves away from friends and family and otherwise alone over the holidays to come together for some companionship, levity and a warm meal. This year, due to the public health restrictions in place, the event will be in a drive-thru format. The free event is still going ahead at the Cochrane Alliance Church, but now attendees are asked to pre-register for a spot and will be given a hot soup meal to go. Visit the Newcomers Cochrane Facebook page for more info, and follow the link to register.
