COCHRANE AND AREA HOSPICE SOCIETY MEETING THURSDAY
Cochrane and Area Hospice Society will be hosting their first meeting of 2020 on Thursday, February 27 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be some exciting news to be announced and if you are not a member of the society you can always become one for $10. Membership will give you voting rights as well as access to events throughout the year. A membership is not required to attend meetings. The gathering will be held at the Amped2Play offices at 2209 102 - 5th Ave W.
RUMBLE AND ROAR TIME IN BRAGG CREEK
The Bragg Creek Centre is hosting Rumble and Roar on Thursday (Feb. 27) from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Little ones, parents and caregivers are welcome to burn off some energy on bouncy castles, mats and more. The event is also a great opportunity for adults get together. Members pay $2 and non-members pay $5. The Bragg Creek Community Centre is located at 23 White Avenue.
APPETIZER BUFFET FUNDRAISER
Cochrane's Mehtab East Indian Cuisine is hosting a fundraiser to support the Cochrane Immigrant Services Committee. On Thursday, March 5 from 6 to 9 p.m., attendees pay $25 and can take part in a silent auction, WestJet ticket raffle, henna, cash bar and a delicious appetizer buffet. COMMUNITY GENERATION POWER UP WORKSHOP
Spend the day with a group of experts, colleagues, and like-minded peers to advance your Community Generation Project. This one-day workshop will connect groups developing renewable energy project with sector experts. Groups will learn next steps, funding strategies and other skills.
