COCHRANE IN BRIEF, March 26

Cochrane in Brief

HEART OF MEHTAB

During this difficult time, Mehtab East Indian Cuisine is stepping up to the plate, if you will. They are giving back to the community by issuing free meals to those who are hungry but may not have the means to pay for them. A Facebook post sent out by the restaurant mentions "Dear Friend, if you are hungry and have no money to pay, just come in for a free meal box or coffee anytime. Stay blessed." Thank you Mehtab for looking out for Cochranites.

AID DURING PANDEMIC

The Psychologists' Association of Alberta is lending an ear to fellow Albertans who may be experiencing distress during COVID-19. Disaster Response members will be offering free of charge psychological services during this uncertain time. Priority will be in place for health care workers and first responders who are finding it hard to manage with the novel virus. This pro-bono support will offer one to three sessions by a volunteer psychologist to those in need. For more information contact [email protected] or call (780) 424-0294.
