The Cochrane Music Society presented its Spring Showcase Concert to a packed house at the Cochrane Alliance Church on Saturday, May 10.
The Coral Waves choir, directed by Diego Bechthold, performed Gordon Lightfoot's classic Rainy Day People, and Harry Belafonte's Turn the World Around, among others. The Riverside Jazz Band, led by director Adam Mailma, performed Elton John's I'm Still Standing, Darryl Benzel's Prime Suspect, and others. Then, Band on the Bow, also led by Mailman, finished the night by performing Love by The Beatles, Susan Labarr's Grace Before Sleep, among others.
