Cochrane RCMP is seeking public help in finding a suspect who has allegedly stolen tools and other valuables from vehicles in the Sunset Ridge community.
Officers received the report of property stolen from a vehicle overnight on Oct. 27. According to a press release, during the course of the investigation, police received video surveillance showing the suspect checking vehicles in Sunset Ridge at approximately 3 a.m. that early morning.
"The suspect is believed to have stolen tools and other valuables from vehicles along Sunrise View and Sundown Way," the release stated.
The suspect is described as having a medium complexion, medium build, and short dark hair. He was wearing a shiny black puffy jacket, black pants, and black footwear.
Cochrane RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
