On May 31, at 12:42 a.m., Cochrane RCMP responded to a report of a serious off road collision involving two motor-cross bikes in the Horse Creek area near Cochrane.
RCMP, Fire and EMS attended the scene and located two seriously injured males.
Despite efforts from people at the scene who provided emergency first aid, the two 21-year-old males, both residents of Cochrane, were declared deceased on scene.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
RCMP sends condolences to the family and friends of both deceased.
