Cochrane RCMP seek assistance in break and enter investigation

The suspects were not successful and fled the scene before police arrived.

On Sunday, March 22 at about 1 a.m. Cochrane RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter at a gas station in Bragg Creek.

At least two suspects broke into the store and tried to gain access to the ATM inside. One suspect appeared to be brandishing a firearm while another held a sledgehammer.

The suspects were not successful and fled the scene before police arrived.

The suspect holding a sledgehammer was wearing black pants, a camouflaged jacket, orange gloves and a balaclava covering his face. The second suspect, described as holding a firearm, was wearing blue high-visibility coveralls, a dark hood, light coloured gloves and a black balaclava. The suspect vehicle appears to be a grey or silver Chevrolet extended cab truck.

If you have any information regarding these investigations, you are asked to contact Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000 or your local police.
