Cochrane RCMP received reports of a shooting that took place at a residence in the community of Sunset Ridge at 6:45 on Aug. 17.
The suspect fled the scene in a black Jeep Wrangler that was later abandoned on Highway 22. No one was injured as a result of the shoot, and the RCMP believes that it was a targeted event with no risk to the community.
