Owner Ronnie Knowles is gearing up to host a monthly stand-up comedy night at the local pub, beginning April 26.

Tickets to the see stand-up comics Lori Ferguson-Ford and Sean Lecomber are still available; tickets to the show, with a 7:30 p.m. seating are available for $10 and tickets to the three-course roast beef dinner and show are $25, with seating beginning at 7 p.m.

“You know how comics go when they’re on a run? Well (Lori Ferguson-Ford) keeps going and going…” laughed Knowles, adding that both Ferguson-Ford and Lecomber are established stand-ups, steeped in all kinds of funny.

Combined, the comics have performed on a variety of stages across the country and television networks — from CTV, CBC, WTN and The Comedy Network, all the way to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Knowles said he will continue to offer up at least one night of music each month, mainly local, acoustic solo and duo acts.
