Supplies pickup locations - more details on Town Of Cochrane website

Cochranrites are being invited by the Town to help improve the beauty of our parks and green spaces through the Cochrane Community clean up event, a concerted effort to enhance the community.

In a release this morning the Town said participants are welcome to join the family-friendly event on Saturday, May 4, from 10 am to 1 pm.

Participants can pick up supplies from several pickup/drop off locations spread throughout Cochrane. Each site will provide garbage bags at a clearly marked drop-off spot for collected litter.

Those interested should bring their own gloves and any additional clean up tools they may require. Once volunteers are done, Cochrane’s Parks and Open Spaces team will gather and properly dispose of all the collected garbage.

Trish Kluane, Manager of Parks & Open Spaces emphasizes, "To ensure adequate supplies for larger groups, community organizations with multiple participants are encouraged to register on the link below with their group size and preferred clean up site.

“Don’t miss the chance to win a free block party trailer booking with a $200 grocery gift card! This initiative allows our community to demonstrate environmental consciousness, foster active community engagement, and ultimately contribute to a better Cochrane.

“Together, we can achieve remarkable outcomes. This fantastic prize can be won by collecting the most bags per person.”

Register your group and apply online at cochrane/community-clean-up.
