Canadian Tire will host its Egg-citing Easter! 2015 Saturday, April 4 from 11 a.m. to noon, with raffle prizes, a colouring contest and a photo competition for best picture with the Easter Bunny.

Their egg hunt will be divided into two age divisions: one to five year olds and six to 12. Egg hunters are asked to register at the customer service desk.

The Cochrane River Heights Community Association's Eggstravaganza is also April 4, 10 a.m. to noon at the Riversong Playground. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the hunt starts at 11 a.m. There will be two egg hunting zones, one for children ages four and under and another ages five and up. This event is free for community association members and $5 per child for non-members.

The East End Easter Egg Hunt is happening April 4 at 10 a.m. at Dewey Blaney Park at the corner of Carolina and Benchlands Drive. Coffee and muffins are provided and the event is free, but monetary donations for future community activities are welcome.

The Bragg Creek Community Association will be hosting an Easter pancake breakfast April 4 as well. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Bragg Creek Community Centre. A bouncy castle will be open, and children can try their hand at cookie decorating, crafts, egg hunting and more. Admission to the breakfast is $5 per family.

There will be an egg hunt 10 a.m. April 4 at Samuel Spicer Park on West McManus Road, along with games and activities put on by moms of the community. Coffee and refreshments are complimentary. There's a $3 entry fee and organizers ask people to RSVP by calling 403-932-3216.
