Environment Canada issues snowfall warning for Cochrane

Ten to 20 centimeters of snow is expected to fall in Rocky View County near Cochrane beginning tonight.

Environment Canada is forecasting heavy snow for Rocky View County beginning later this evening, prompting a snowfall warning.

The federal agency reports 10 to 20 centimetres is expected in the areas of Rocky View County near Airdrie, Crossfield, Bottrel, Madden and Cochrane. 

Snow will begin to slow overnight Sunday. 

The agency advises drivers to adjust to changing road conditions and warns that visibility may suddenly be reduced in heavy snow.
