The Foothills Bucking Horse Futurity is taking place at the Cochrane Lions Rodeo Grounds on July 14.
Organized by Jimmy Richards, the event will showcase future bucking horses.
Ten to 12 stock contractors will each be bringing three horses that are between three to five years old. Riders from Alberta, Saskatchewan, and BC will compete for prize money and the best team of horses is also eligible for prize money.
Admission at the gate is $10 and children 10 years and under get in free. A concession and beer gardens will be on site.
