A 17-year-old is dead after a serious vehicle collision near Springbank on Oct. 18. Around 10:45 p.m., the Cochrane RCMP were called to Horizon View Road where one male, the driver of the vehicle, was found deceased at the scene. A 16-year-old male passenger was taken to hospital in with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the vehicle occupants will not be released. Cochrane Area Victim Services is involved with both families.
The collision is still under investigation.
