It is on! Father and son are waging in a little hometown hockey rivalry and putting their money where their mouth is for a good cause.

Ryan Baum, general manager at Mountain View Dodge, has a bet with dad Alex Baum, dealer principal at Cochrane Toyota that involves the hottest game in town – the Heritage Junior Hockey League final series between the Cochrane Generals and Mountainview Colts.

“For each win, hopefully it is the Generals, Mountain View Dodge will donate $100 to the Cochrane Activettes food hamper program,” said Generals fan Alex Baum. “If, by chance, the Generals were to lose a game, Cochrane Toyota will donate a $100 per game to the Olds food hamper program, until a champion is declared.”

When the league champ is crowned, the losing sponsor will host a pizza and refreshments meal for the winning team at the dealership. The loosing sponsor will have to pay for the meal and wear the opposition’s sweater.
