The semi-annual Cochrane Food Drive is gearing up for the spring.
Organizers are seeking volunteers for donating pick-ups and sorting on April 29. Donations are welcome from Cochrane and surrounding area residents, including Bragg Creek, Redwood Meadows, Springbank and Bearspaw because those are the communities that are directed to access the Cochrane Food Bank, as opposed to the City of Calgary.
The twice-a-year food drives help contribute to 90 pre cent of the food bank’s stock.
