The final eve of 2016 marks the deadline for nominations to Mr. Mikes SteakhouseCasual fourth annual Deeds Well Done campaign.
The national campaign is seeking nominations for community members who go the extra mile to roll up their sleeves and give back or “simply puts a smile on faces.”
“The focus has always been on being involved in the community,” said owner/manager Steve Bauer, a 13-year Cochrane resident, adding that the restaurant is looking forward to some planned community initiatives next year.
March 21, 2017 marks the food establishment’s one-year anniversary.
One winner will be selected from each of the 32 communities Mr. Mikes is a part of across Canada, earning themselves a $100 gift card to the restaurant and a $500 donation to a charity of their choice.
Nominators will receive a $10 gift card for taking the time to give a pat on the back.
Mr. Mike’s is located at 50 Quarry Street.
