The upcoming community of Greystone is welcoming Cochranites to a special event this Sunday, as they plan to host their formal ground breaking for the Ocgrow Greystone Place project.
From noon to 2 p.m., a special ceremony will take place, alongside food trucks, and a special VIP tour event.
President and CEO of the Ocgrow Group of Companies, Harish Consul, said this will be the first commercial retail project for Greystone, and it has been in the works for many years.
“We’re very, very excited,” Consul said. “We’ve been hard at work and totally focused. A lot of people don’t see how much work goes on behind the scenes, but it’s never been more exciting.
“We’ve got record interest from new tenants coming in, new commercial businesses opening up, the sites are ready to go, services are in, and you’ll see vertical buildings going up for summer occupancy next year.”
Consul invites families to participate in the family-friendly event and looks forward to seeing the community partake in this monumental celebration.
“This is the largest master plan community currently under construction in Cochrane,” Consul said. “So we’re announcing a lot of new businesses and we look forward to seeing everyone there.”
