The Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation (GRPF) received a donation of $10,000 from Andy Crooks, which will go toward supporting the Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park (GRPP).

“It is important that the great legacy created by the Harvie family through the establishment of the GRPP be sustained and maintained,” said Crooks. “Supporting the foundation is the best way to do that.”

The GRPF will begin offering ‘In the Trenches’ workshops aimed at providing local non-profit organizations and small businesses with practical skills they could use to succeed.

“These sessions follow the successful workshops we offered in partnership with Bow Valley College,” said GRPF development officer Tara McFadden. “Thanks to Bow Valley College’s initiative we’ve been able to expand the partnership and offer a broader range of topics.”

The first workshop runs Oct. 24, with three additional, Nov. 21, Jan. 23, 2015 and March 13, 2015. Each workshop costs $95 and includes lunch. For more information and to register for one of the four workshops visit grpf.ca/inthetrenches.
